Legal Secretary

 Job Description:

Position Overview We are looking for a motivated legal secretary who is keen to take the next step in their career.    The role includes progressing and maintaining files, liaising with clients, sending correspondence, arranging appointments, document production, meeting deadlines and being generally helpful.   Responsibilities will include: 1.      Proactively manage and maintain the schedules of multiple authors, including calendar management and appointment scheduling. 2.      Serve as the primary point of contact between internal and external stakeholders by managing all incoming emails and phone calls. 3.      Organise and coordinate client meetings and conferences and assist with client engagement and communication, including preparing documentation for client meetings. 4.      Prepare, review, and proofread legal documents and correspondence as required. 5.      Foster collaboration with other team members to streamline office operations and enhance overall efficiency.  About you:   Demonstrates computer proficiency , including: 1.      Advanced knowledge of Word and Outlook. 2.      Formatting and table creation in Word. 3.      A typing speed of approximately 70 WPM. 4.      Experience in dictation typing. 5.      Familiarity with PEXA (advantageous, but not essential). 6.      Exposure to Practice Evolve (advantageous, but not essential). 7.      Experience with Wills and Estates (advantageous, but not essential).
