JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Report directly to the R&D Manager on assigned projects and tasks.
• Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings for electrical switchboards using 2D/3D drafting tools.
• Develop and assemble modular drawings based on panel design specifications.
• Perform basic engineering calculations, including heat loss analysis and airflow simulations when required.
• Generate and maintain Material Order Lists (MOL) for mechanical components.
• Liaise with vendors on material specifications, technical clarifications, and enquiries.
• Work closely with Manufacturing and Production teams to ensure designs are practical, accurate, and feasible for fabrication.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and carry out additional duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENT

• NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of BIM, Vertex G4, and AutoCAD M&E (3D drafting).
• Strong interest in mechanical design, engineering systems, or industrial applications.
• Prior experience in mechanical drafting or design will be an advantage, but not required.
• Exposure to generator enclosures, ventilation systems, exhaust systems, piping, or similar industrial equipment is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with good problem-solving and communication skills.
