Requirements

  • Masters degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
  • Valid state clinical license - Florida
  • Experience in mental health and substance abuse counseling
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to promoting a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the needs of individuals seeking substance abuse treatment.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
  • Provide counseling services to individuals and facilitate group therapy sessions.
  • Address the unique needs and challenges associated with substance abuse recovery.
  • Offer education and preventive services to individuals and groups to promote substance abuse awareness and prevention.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and documentation standards.
  • Work collaboratively with other counselors, healthcare professionals, and support staff to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to treatment planning.

Pay: $70,000 - $85,000 annually

Schedule: Full-Time
