Were looking for a dynamic and relationship-oriented Business Development Representative (BDR) to grow our referral network throughout New Yorkwith a focus on generating leads through in-network relationships. Ideal candidates are community-engaged, boots-on-the-ground professionals who thrive on making meaningful connections that lead to real help for those in need.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage referral relationships with hospitals, clinicians, therapists, and social workers across New York
  • Source high-quality leads through proactive outreach, relationship-building, and field visits
  • Establish a strong presence in the communityattending events, meeting providers, and creating visibility
  • Focus on growing in-network referrals and educating providers on services offered
  • Collaborate with admissions and clinical teams to ensure a smooth transition for referred clients
  • Maintain detailed activity logs and relationship tracking through CRM tools
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity in assigned region

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in business development, marketing, or outreach in behavioral health, addiction treatment, or healthcare
  • Strong local network and existing connections with providers in New York are a big plus
  • Knowledge of insurance networks and in-network treatment options preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and follow-through skills
  • Comfortable with local travel across boroughs and surrounding areas
  • Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce is helpful
