Ideal Candidate:

• Experienced in challenging venipunctures
• Self-directed, dependable, and comfortable working independently
• Holds current phlebotomy certification or relevant experience as a Medical Assistant
• Reliable transportation for quick travel between sites and potential lab drop-off

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform venipunctures, including difficult draws, on a small number of patients weekly (approx. 5 sticks/week)
• Ensure all blood draws are completed by 8:00 a.m.
• Prepare samples for lab testing, including centrifuging and packaging specimens
• Coordinate with lab services for pickup or direct delivery
• Maintain accurate records and follow all infection control protocols

Schedule:

• MondayFriday (varied days; on-call)
• Draws must be done early morning only
