Job Title: ​Senior IT Specialist (Cebu)

Overview: STAFFVIRTUAL is seeking a hands-on Senior IT professional to support and maintain daily IT operations. This role focuses on advanced troubleshooting, system administration, and ensuring the reliability of IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate has solid technical experience, can handle escalations independently, and can provide guidance to junior team members when needed.

Responsibilities:

• IT Support & Operations
  
  • Handle advanced troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Manage escalations and ensure timely resolution.
  • Monitor and maintain systems, networks, and cloud services.
  • Coordinate with vendors for technical support.
    

• Systems, Inventory & Deployment
  • Manage IT inventory (hardware, software, and assets).​
  • Set up devices, configure systems, and provision users.
  • Support deployments, upgrades, and maintenance.
  • Ensure systems are secure, updated, and running efficiently.
  • Assist with backup and disaster recovery processes.
    
• Team Support & Improvement
  
  • Suggest improvements to IT processes and workflows.
  • Support basic automation or new tools when needed.
  • Document technical solutions and procedures.
  • Provide guidance to junior IT staff.
    

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.

• 3​ to 5 years of IT experience.

• Strong troubleshooting and system administration skills.

• Experience with inventory management and deployments.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms is a plus.

• Able to work independently and handle escalations.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.
