About the job Bookkeeper (ConnectWise Experience Required - Remote)
Overview:
Were looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper with hands-on experience using ConnectWise PSA to join our finance team. This role focuses on managing day-to-day financial transactions, generating reports to support strategic decisions, and ensuring accurate and compliant client billing. The ideal candidate is experienced in invoicing, accounts receivable/payable, payroll assistance, and budget monitoringparticularly within a managed services or tech environment using ConnectWise.
Reporting Line:
This role reports directly to the Finance Controller and works closely with the Finance Department, which aligns under the President per the companys Accountability Chart.
Key Responsibilities:
70% - Core Bookkeeping Functions
- Manage daily financial activities including invoicing, accounts payable (A/P), and accounts receivable (A/R)

Support payroll and basic HR tasks

Create accurate financial and management reports
15% - Client Agreement Compliance (ConnectWise Focused)

Perform monthly user count and billing compliance checks
- Review and maintain new and renewal agreements in ConnectWise Manage

Coordinate with clients to resolve discrepancies
10% - Budgeting & Forecasting

Assist in developing budgets and forecasts

Monitor cash flow and support strategic financial planning
5% - Finance Process Improvement

Participate in planning quarterly objectives

Help streamline and document finance workflows
Recurring Activities:

Join weekly finance team meetings (L10 format)

Regularly review A/R and invoicing metrics

Contribute to quarterly planning and leadership check-ins
Systems Used:
- ConnectWise Manage: Invoicing, client agreements, user tracking, data integrity

BrightGauge for financial dashboards and metrics
What Were Looking For:
- Required: At least 4 years of experience in finance or bookkeeping roles, preferably in an MSP or IT services environment

Must-have: Proven experience using ConnectWise PSA

Proficient in MS Office tools, especially Excel

Understanding of core accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret and present financial data
- Effective communicator who can liaise with teams, clients, and management

Experience reviewing financial reports and ensuring billing compliance

Self-starter with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
