About the client:
Is a fast-growing, NYC-based CPA firm specializing in crypto taxation, high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and attestation services. We're seeking a highly organized, proactive, and driven Operations Manager to help scale the firm's infrastructure and improve day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight

Manage daily internal workflows and staff coordination

Improve systems, processes, and procedures to drive efficiency

Oversee onboarding/offboarding of clients and employees

Coordinate scheduling, task delegation, and resource planning
Technology & Systems Management
- Administer software tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Hubstaff, GDrive, Canopy, Slack, Loom)
- Identify and implement automation or integrations to reduce manual tasks
- Troubleshoot team technical/logistical issues and escalate when needed
Process Development
- Document SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and keep them updated

Develop internal controls and ensure procedures are followed

Manage workflow for tax season, client requests, and internal deadlines
HR & Admin Support

Track timesheets, PTO, and general HR support
- Assist with hiring processes, including interviews, onboarding, and payroll coordination

Ensure clear communication across offshore and onshore teams
Client Coordination

Support client onboarding, communication, and follow-up
- Act as liaison between clients and internal staff to ensure prompt delivery

Organize client file systems and deadlines
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in any business-related field
3-5 years of experience in operations, administration, or project coordination
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable using digital tools and learning new systems
Able to document processes and help improve workflows
Experience working with cross-functional or remote teams
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Proactive, adaptable, and able to manage multiple tasks at once
