About the job Sales Assistant (Lead Generation)
This role will help expand the business by identifying and qualifying new opportunities in the body jewelry market. It also involves maintaining accurate customer records in our systems and ensuring the proper assignment of sales representatives to studio leads. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, thrives on process, and is passionate about the body art industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct targeted outreach to identify prospective body piercing studios using online research (e.g., Google, Instagram).
- Collect and input key studio data including:
o Studio name and location
o Piercer contact information
o Website and Instagram handles (studio & piercer) - Qualify each studio by confirming piercing services are offered (via website, social media, or phone).
- Search for existing records in NetSuite and Shopify using relevant identifiers (studio name, piercer name, email, etc.).
- Validate existing records by cross-referencing shipping addresses.
- Track duplicate records and update the duplicate tracker as needed.
- Review NetSuite records to check for existing Body Jewelry Sales Rep assignments:
o If assigned, move on to the next lead.
o If not assigned, update or create the lead according to SOP guidelines. - Maintain CRM data integrity by editing and validating lead records:
o Ensure proper record type and naming conventions
o Update email, phone, and social handles
o Assign to correct territory sales rep per the regional map
o Add applicable brand(s) in the "Lead Generation" field - Other duties as assigned
SKILLS:

- Solid understanding of clerical procedures and systems, such as recordkeeping and filing.
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer service skills.
- Ability to respond to problems with a calm, courteous, helpful manner and attitude.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- NetSuite, ERP or CRM experience helpful.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- 1-2 years in sales, customer service, or lead generation (inside sales preferred).
- Proficiency in CRM systems, preferably NetSuite and Shopify.
- Strong online research skills and ability to synthesize data quickly.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks and CRM data entry.
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing high lead volume.
