IT Manager (Cebu/Manila)

SUMMARY: STAFFVIRTUAL is looking for a results-driven IT Manager to oversee our IT operations and support the strategic implementation of technology across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital transformation, with experience managing systems, teams, and projects. Familiarity with AI tools and modern automation technologies is a plus. This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on leadership to align IT initiatives with business goals, ensure system reliability, and drive continuous improvement.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

IT Strategy & Team Leadership
-Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with organizational goals.
-Manage and mentor the internal IT team and coordinate with external vendors as needed.
-Collaborate with department heads to identify technology needs and improvement areas.
-Ensure IT practices align with cybersecurity standards and company policies.

IT Infrastructure & Operations
-Oversee the maintenance and performance of networks, cloud services, and enterprise systems.
-Lead system upgrades, deployments, and daily IT support to ensure business continuity.
-Monitor and manage IT budgets, resources, and vendor contracts.
-Implement disaster recovery, data backup, and business continuity plans.

Digital Transformation & Automation
-Identify opportunities to streamline operations through automation and technology.
-Evaluate and support the implementation of tools such as RPA, chatbots, and cloud-based analytics.
-Support the integration of AI-powered or machine learning tools (where applicable) in collaboration with relevant teams.
-Ensure technology solutions meet performance, scalability, and security standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:
-Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Masters degree is a plus.
-At least 5+ years of progressive experience in IT, with 2+ years in a managerial or supervisory role.
-Experience with digital transformation projects or AI tool integration is an advantage.
-Solid knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems administration, and cybersecurity best practices.
-Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
-Familiarity with automation tools (RPA, AI-powered analytics, chatbots).
-Strong troubleshooting, system integration, and performance optimization skills.
-Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage multiple projects.
-Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
-Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
