Overview: Join STAFFVIRTUAL as an HR Associate in Cebu! You will handle employee lifecycle, HR compliance, payroll support, and employee relations while building your HR career in a flexible hybrid setup with great benefits and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Employee Lifecycle Management
    • Draft and process new hire employee contracts, extensions, and renewals.

    • Facilitate pre-employment compliance, including collection and verification of documents.

    • Conduct HR talks and orientations for contract renewals and end-of-contract discussions.

    • Act as main point of contact (POC) for offboarding processes, including clearances, exit interviews, and coordination with relevant departments.

  • HR Administration and Compliance
    • Prepare and submit attendance reports for schedule adherence and compliance.

    • Coordinate with government agencies for registrations, TIN enrollments, and statutory contributions (SSS, PHIC, HDMF).

    • Maintain up-to-date HR trackers on attrition, retention, and contract status.

    • Manage logistics for HR-related materials, such as IDs and case papers.

  • Employee Relations and Support
    • Respond to employment verification requests from external clients.

    • Provide frontline employee helpdesk support, addressing inquiries and concerns raised by staff.

    • Handle employee benefit assistance (maternity, sickness, etc.) and ensure proper computations.

    • Conduct Compensation & Benefits (C&B) chats with employees for clarificatio and guidance.

    • Drafts, issue NTE and NOD for minor cases.

  • Payroll and Remittances
    • Assist in the preparation of payroll reports (local and international) for review and approval.

    • Access and manage company online government accounts (SSS, PHIC, HDMF) for contribution audits and remittance.

    • Coordinate with vendors for loan management, billing, and payment processing.

  • Reporting and Documentation
    • Prepare reports related to workforce attrition, retention, contract management, and HR compliance.

    • Update the Workforce Holiday Tracker and communicate relevant announcements.

    • Support HR Supervisor/Manager in generating reports and ensuring accurate data for decision-making.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Fresh graduates are welcome; or at least 6 months of work experience.

  • Experience in ER is an advantage.

  • Knowledge of government-mandated benefits (SSS, PHIC, HDMF, BIR) preferred.

  • Proficient in MS Office applications and comfortable working with online HR systems/trackers.

  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • High level of integrity and commitment to confidentiality.
