Accounting Intern (Cebu)

STAFFVIRTUAL is looking for an Accounting Intern to support our Finance and Accounting team in day-to-day operations, documentation, and compliance-related tasks. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in real accounting processes, including bookkeeping, tax preparation support, and audit exposure.

As an Accounting Intern, you will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, organizing accounting documents, and supporting key compliance and reporting requirements. You will also be exposed to various finance and tax-related processes essential to business operations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing SLSP (Summary List of Sales and Purchases)
• Support in BIR audit requirements and related documentation
• Assist in day-to-day bookkeeping activities
• Perform vouching, sorting, and proper documentation of accounting records
• Assist in organizing finance and accounting documents such as receipts, invoices, and related files
• Help maintain accurate and updated file management systems
• Support reconciliation and other accounting-related tasks as needed
• Perform other finance and accounting duties that may be assigned

Qualifications:

• Currently taking up Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related course
• Organized, detail-oriented, and responsible
• Comfortable working with numbers and handling sensitive document
• Good communication and coordination skills
  
• Familiar with Google Workspace or MS Office
• Willing to work onsite in Mabolo, Cebu City

Schedule: Flexible (anytime from 8am to 5pm Mon-Fri)

Setup: On-site, Cebu Office
