At Stakque Digital, were known for driving high-performance digital campaigns with a strong visual edge. As we expand our in-house video production team, were looking for a creative and technically sharp Director of Photography (DoP) who can bring stories to life with cinematic impactwhether its a brand film, ad spot, social reel, or campaign visual.
Role Overview:
As the Director of Photography, you will be responsible for leading the visual execution of video content, working closely with creative leads, clients, and the post-production team. Youll be hands-on with camera setups, lighting, framing, and ensuring our video output aligns with the brand's tone and creative vision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with creative leads to define the visual style and direction for each project.
- Plan and execute camera work, lighting setups, and shot compositions across various formats (commercials, product videos, reels, interviews, etc.).
- Operate and manage professional camera equipment, gimbals, lenses, and lighting gear.
- Direct the on-set crew and ensure smooth production workflows during shoots.
- Scout locations and assess lighting and space requirements ahead of shoots.
- Ensure brand consistency and high visual quality across all content produced.
- Coordinate closely with editors and post-production to maintain the visual narrative.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a DoP or cinematographer role, preferably in digital marketing or branded content.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of video styles (ads, promos, lifestyle, corporate, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with DSLRs, mirrorless systems, cinema cameras (e.g., Sony FX, Canon C series, RED), and lighting setups.
- Solid understanding of composition, color theory, lighting design, and camera movement.
- Proficiency in on-set problem-solving and working in fast-paced environments.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
Bonus Skills (Preferred but not mandatory):
- Experience with studio lighting, motion graphics integration, or basic color grading.
- Background in directing small production teams.
- Familiarity with video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
