Risk & Compliance Lawyer - 10+ PQE | Int'l Law Firm | HKG

Our client, a global international law firm, is seeking an experienced lawyer to join their global compliance team. Reporting to the head of compliance, the role will support the firm's Asia offices across governance, regulatory compliance and internal compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise on professional ethics, admission requirements, conflicts, confidentiality and disclosure
• Lead development of regional compliance policies, procedures & training
• Monitor regulatory developments and update firm policies accordingly
• Advise on AML/CTF matters and collaborate with country compliance colleagues
• Provide internal legal support on contracts, procurement, claims & employment issues
• Work closely with global in-house legal teams on firm‑wide risk and compliance initiatives
• Build strong relationships with partners and key stakeholders across the region

Requirements:

• Qualified lawyer with 10 PQE from an international law firm
• Prior experience in a compliance role is essential
• Strong analytical skills, excellent drafting & communication abilities
• Practical, confident, detail oriented and excellent communicator is sought
