About the job Digital Infrastructure & Technology M&A Associate | US Law Firm | Hong Kong
Our client is a leading US law firm with a substantial and growing presence across Asia, renowned for its collaborative culture, entrepreneurial spirit, and the exceptional calibre of its practitioners. The firm advises a sophisticated roster of clients — including global infrastructure sponsors, private equity funds, technology companies, financial institutions, and multinational corporates — on high-value, complex cross-border transactions across the region.
The firm's Hong Kong-based TMT and digital infrastructure team has been significantly strengthened in recent years and is now one of the most active in Asia on data centre investment, digital infrastructure M&A, and technology transactions. Working in close collaboration with the firm's Singapore office, the team advises leading sponsors, strategics, and corporates at the intersection of the digital economy, capital markets, and regulation.
The team now seeks an ambitious mid-senior associate to join this practice in Hong Kong, working alongside partners across Hong Kong and Singapore on a pipeline of high-quality, market-leading mandates.
The Role
This is a transactional role sitting at the heart of the firm's digital infrastructure and technology M&A practice. The successful candidate will work across:

- Data centre and fibre optic agreements — negotiating and drafting complex commercial agreements underpinning digital infrastructure development and operation, including development agreements, capacity agreements, and long-term service contracts
- PE and infrastructure fund mandates — supporting private equity sponsors, infrastructure funds, and strategic investors on their digital infrastructure and technology sector acquisitions and portfolio transactions in Asia
- Technology transactions and IP — advising corporates, founders, and investors on technology acquisitions, licensing arrangements, IP-related transactions, and digital economy deals
- Southeast Asia cross-border work — multi-jurisdictional transactions spanning Singapore, the Philippines, Indonesia, and broader Southeast Asia, working in close collaboration with the firm's Singapore partners
- Capital markets and corporate support — providing transaction support for technology and digital infrastructure companies on listings, fundraisings, and associated corporate matters
