Information & Research Officer | Int'l Law Firm | HK

We are seeking a proactive Information & Research Officer to join one of our clients, a renowned international law firm based in Hong Kong. The role will work closely with the Head of Information & Research for the region to deliver exceptional information services.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for research enquiries from lawyers and business services teams
• Conduct in-depth research on legal, commercial, sector-specific, and client-related topics using a wide range of internal and external databases
• Support the creation and distribution of tailored legal and business news alerts to keep the firm abreast of market developments
• Promote the service offerings and train new and existing staff on best practices for using research tools.
• Contribute to global team initiatives, sharing best practices and manage all research queries

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

• A graduate degree is required; a qualification in information science or library studies is highly desirable
• Proven experience in a research role within a professional or financial services environment
• Essential attributes include strong research and prioritization skills for a fast-paced setting
• Excellent communication abilities, and fluency in English and Cantonese or Mandarin
• Advanced technical skills and a broad understanding of legal and business issues are distinct advantages
