Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the firm operates effectively within the regulatory framework, identifying and mitigating risks.
• Collaborate with partners and support staff to uphold high standards of compliance and risk management.
• Conduct conflict checks and manage compliance processes to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
• Oversee quality control measures and perform legal audits to maintain operational excellence.
• Provide advisory support on policies, regulatory matters, and compliance-related issues.
• Optimize support functions by effectively utilizing offshore shared resources.

Qualifications

• Senior-level qualified lawyer with extensive experience in risk and compliance within a legal or professional services environment.
• In-depth understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage complex processes.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Cantonese and Mandarin is a plus.
