Associate (Derivatives/Structured Products) | 2-4 PQE | Hong Kong

Our client, a top international law firm, is seeking a 2-4 PQE Associate to join its Financial Markets team in Hong Kong. Key Responsibilities:

• Advise on a broad range of financial markets transactions, including structured products, derivatives, and asset-based finance.
• Support the development and execution of innovative financial market infrastructure projects.
• Assist in the structuring, negotiation, and documentation of complex finance transactions, including securitisations, margin loans, and debt securities.
• Provide regulatory advice on structured products and derivatives, ensuring compliance with local and cross-border regulations.
• Collaborate with banks, investors, and corporates to understand their business objectives and deliver tailored legal solutions.

Key Requirements:

• 2-4 years of post-qualification experience in a reputable law firm, with a focus on derivatives, structured products, or structured finance.
• Experience in financial markets transactions, such as securitisations, margin loans, or debt securities, is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of financial market infrastructure (e.g., exchanges, clearing systems) is an advantage.
• Strong interest in market innovations and regulatory developments.
• Excellent academic background.
• International law firm experience preferred.
• Business-level proficiency in Mandarin and English.
