ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client, a highly regarded law firm with a well-established presence in Hong Kong, known for its sophisticated cross-border practice and deep expertise in capital markets, is seeking a Corporate Paralegal with 3+ years of experience, to join the firm's capital markets team.
This role will require you to undertake legal research, verification, pre-IPO due diligence, proof reading, document reviews and registry filings. In addition to translating and coordinating documents within the team, you will liaise with external parties and participate in other ad hoc projects.
In addition to IPO work, the successful candidate may also gain exposure to M&A and pre-investment transactions, providing a well-rounded experience across corporate deal types. ABOUT YOU
To qualify, you must be a university graduate in law with at least 3 years of experience in Corporate Finance and IPOs at a reputable law firm. Proficiency in written and spoken English, Mandarin, and Cantonese is essential. Ideally, you should possess strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and other IT-related areas. Candidates with a proactive attitude and an organised, practical approach will thrive in this role.
The role is ideally suited to a paralegal who is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual fluency in Mandarin and English is essential, given the nature of the firm's client base and the cross-border scope of its work. Candidates with prior experience in international or leading local law firms will be viewed favorably.
