HR Officer (HR Generalist) - Int'l Law Firm
One of the world's leading international law firms is seeking an HR Officer (HR Generalist) to join its Hong Kong office. Reporting to the HR Manager, this role will be responsible for supporting a full range of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration.
Role Overview
The HR Officer will provide comprehensive support across all HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compensation & benefits, performance management, learning and development and HR administration. This role ensures smooth HR operations in compliance with company policies and Hong Kong Employment Ordinance, while fostering a positive and engaging work environment. Responsibilities also include coordinating with internal stakeholders and external vendors, preparing HR reports, and assisting with policy implementation.
Skills & Attributes
- Bachelor's degree in HR or a related discipline
- 5+ years of HR generalist experience, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment
- Strong knowledge of Hong Kong Employment Ordinance and hiring trends; experience with the Law Society of Hong Kong is an advantage
- Proficient in MS Office with excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Exceptional communication skills in English and Chinese
- Highly detail-oriented, proactive, and a strong team player
