Assistant Legal Counsel | 1-3 PQE | Manufacturing | HK

Role Overview

Our client, a multinational manufacturer, is seeking a Junior Legal Counsel to support APAC commercial, compliance, and regulatory matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate sales and procurement contracts and other general commercial contracts.
• Advise on import/export compliance and international trade issues.
• Support on commercial disputes and engage with stakeholders across APAC.
• Provide timely legal advice to the business and affiliates.
• Identify risk‑mitigation solutions and support governance policy development.
• Monitor external regulatory developments impacting the business.

Requirements

• Qualified in law in Hong Kong, PRC, or Singapore with 1-3 years in‑house or international law firm experience.
• Strong commercial contracting experience with solid drafting and negotiation skills.
• Detail‑oriented with strong project management abilities
• Effective communicator across jurisdictions and able to work independently and within global teams.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
• Experience in international trade compliance is advantageous.
