A US law firm with a focused Greater China footprint seeks a senior commercial disputes partner for its Hong Kong office. This is a strategic hire within a well‑established regional disputes practice, offering an integrated platform spanning the firm's three offices in Greater China.

The firm advises multinational corporates, regional businesses, and financial institutions on complex commercial litigation, international arbitration, regulatory matters, and cross‑border disputes involving Mainland China and Hong Kong. The incoming partner will assume leadership responsibility for the Hong Kong disputes offering and benefit from close collaboration with the firm's Mainland China disputes and corporate teams.

A portable client following is essential, with the ability to originate work and strengthen long‑standing relationships. The role suits a disputes specialist who combines technical depth with commercial judgement and is comfortable steering a cross‑border practice.

Ideal profile:

• Strong experience in commercial litigation and arbitration, ideally with Hong Kong and Greater China exposure.
• Mandarin and English language skills preferred.
• Demonstrable client following with capacity to build a stable book of business.
• Proven capability in managing high‑value contentious matters.
• Hong Kong qualification preferred; other Commonwealth qualifications considered.
