Job Title: Commissioning Manager / Construction Manager (Oil & Gas)

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager or Construction Manager with strong Oil & Gas project experience to lead and manage large-scale industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in EPC projects, utilities, or seawater treatment/desalination facilities within the Oil & Gas sector.

Key Responsibilities:

For Commissioning Manager:

  • Lead and manage pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities.
  • Develop commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules.
  • Coordinate with engineering, construction, and operations teams to ensure smooth project handover.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE standards and project specifications.
  • Supervise system testing, performance testing, and documentation.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and vendors during commissioning phases.
  • Ensure project milestones are achieved within timeline and budget.

For Construction Manager:

  • Oversee all on-site construction activities.
  • Manage subcontractors, site engineers, and supervisors.
  • Ensure construction is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Monitor project schedule, cost control, and quality assurance.
  • Coordinate with engineering and commissioning teams for smooth project transition.
  • Conduct progress meetings and prepare construction reports.
  • Ensure compliance with ADNOC / Oil & Gas regulations (if applicable).

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical or related field).
  • Minimum 12–15 years of experience in Oil & Gas projects.
  • Proven experience in large-scale industrial, utilities, seawater treatment, or desalination projects.
  • Strong knowledge of EPC project lifecycle.
  • Experience working in UAE / GCC preferred.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with international codes and standards (API, ASME, ISO, etc.).
  • ADNOC project experience is an advantage.

Preferred Competencies:

  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
  • Experience in commissioning of pumping stations, pipelines, or water treatment facilities is an added advantage.
