Accountant

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with a keen eye for detail and a high level of accuracy. The Accountant will be responsible for managing the financial records of the company, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and providing timely and accurate financial reports to management. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including but not limited to general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations - Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded and documented in accordance with accounting principles and company policies - Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow projections to ensure the company's financial stability - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements - Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts - Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies or irregularities - Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities as needed - Keep up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and standards, and ensure compliance - Provide support to other departments as needed, including assisting with budget planning and financial analysis - Participate in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy - Maintain confidentiality of financial information and records - Other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or a similar role - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards - Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Knowledge of UAE accounting regulations is a plus.
