Job Title: Cloud Engineer

Role Summary

The Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS. The role focuses on Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and cloud-native practices to support reliable deployments, optimize costs, and enhance system performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and manage AWS cloud infrastructure following best practices and security standards.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform/CloudFormation to automate deployments.
  • Support and optimize CI/CD pipelines for faster and reliable releases.
  • Ensure high availability, backup, and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, security, and application teams to improve system performance and governance.

Key Skills

  • AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS)
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Kubernetes (EKS) and containerization
  • Scripting (Python, Bash) and automation tools (Ansible)
  • DevOps and Agile methodologies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
  • Minimum 3+ years of hands-on AWS experience
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer (mandatory)
