Sr. Payments Officer - FTS Authorization

To authorize and control UAEFTS transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, internal controls, and risk management standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Checker/Authorizer role for FTS transactions
• Review and approve transactions ensuring accuracy, limits, and compliance
• Monitor cut-off times and ensure timely authorization
• Handle exceptions, escalations, and complex transaction issues
• Review and validate FTS reconciliation and settlement positions
• Investigate discrepancies and ensure timely resolution
• Ensure adherence to maker-checker controls and audit requirements
• Participate in UAT testing and system enhancements
• Provide guidance and oversight to Makers.

• Key Responsibilities & Deliverables : Strong practical knowledge of:
• FTS lifecycle (processing clearing settlement)
• Reconciliation & settlement controls
• Risk management and maker-checker principle
• Experience handling NACKs, failed transactions, and escalations
• Strong understanding of UAE Central Bank regulations
