Job Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our team on a full-time, 12-month contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy equipment and materials on job sites. This is a physically demanding role that requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. Key Responsibilities: Operate various types of cranes, including mobile, tower, and overhead cranes, to lift and move heavy equipment and materials Perform pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on cranes to ensure safe and efficient operation Read and interpret load charts and rigging plans to determine the appropriate crane and rigging techniques for each job Communicate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate lifts and ensure safety protocols are followed Complete all required documentation and reports, including daily logs, maintenance records, and incident reports Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environment Continuously monitor and assess job site conditions to identify potential hazards and take corrective action as needed Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 2 years of experience operating cranes in an industrial setting Valid crane operator certification and relevant licenses Strong knowledge of crane operations, rigging techniques, and load charts Ability to read and interpret blueprints and rigging plans Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions Excellent communication and teamwork skills Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed Benefits: Competitive salary Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for training and career development Supportive and collaborative work environment If you are a skilled and safety-conscious Crane Operator looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity, we encourage you to apply for this position with Star Services LLC.
