The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of all employees at our client's site. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement site-specific health and safety policies and procedures - Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations - Train employees on safety protocols and procedures - Investigate accidents and incidents and develop corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence - Maintain accurate records of all safety-related incidents and activities - Coordinate with site management to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal safety regulations - Conduct safety audits and provide recommendations for improvement - Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs and make necessary adjustments - Develop emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure readiness in case of an emergency - Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulations to continuously improve safety standards at the site - Collaborate with other departments to promote a culture of safety and ensure all employees are aware of their safety responsibilities Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field - Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the oil and gas, construction, or manufacturing industry - Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proven ability to develop and implement effective safety programs - Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Proficient in Microsoft Office and other safety-related software If you are a dedicated and experienced safety professional looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity, we encourage you to apply for this position.
