About the job Assistant Machine Operator
Machine Setup: Assist in setting up machines before
production runs, including loading materials, adjusting
settings, and ensuring proper tooling is in place.
Machine Operation: Operate machinery according to
established procedures, guidelines, and safety protocols.
Monitor machine performance and make adjustments in
consultation with Lead operator / Production Incharge.
Quality Control: Inspect finished products to ensure they
meet quality standards and specifications. Report any
defects or issues to Lead operator / Production Incharge
immediately.
Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as
cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts. Assist
with troubleshooting and minor repairs when needed
Material Handling: Handle raw materials and finished
products, including loading and unloading materials,
moving products between workstations, and maintaining
inventory levels.
Safety: Follow all safety rules and regulations to prevent
accidents and injuries. Use personal protective
equipment (PPE) as required.
Documentation: Maintain records of production
activities, machine settings, and quality checks. Complete
production reports as necessary.
Communication: Communicate effectively with Lead
operator, Production Incharge, and team members to
ensure smooth production processes.
Training: Participate in training programs to improve
machine operation skills and knowledge of production
processes.
