Senior HSE Engineer

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior HSE Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health, safety, and environmental management, with a proven track record of implementing effective HSE programs in the oil and gas industry. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and programs in line with industry standards and regulations - Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with HSE standards - Provide technical support and guidance to project teams to ensure HSE requirements are met - Conduct risk assessments and develop risk mitigation plans - Investigate accidents and incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences - Conduct HSE training and awareness programs for employees and contractors - Keep up-to-date with changes in HSE regulations and industry best practices - Collaborate with project teams and clients to ensure HSE requirements are integrated into project plans and processes - Prepare and submit HSE reports to management and regulatory agencies as required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Safety, or a related field - Minimum of 8 years of experience in HSE management, preferably in the oil and gas industry - Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and standards - Proven experience in developing and implementing HSE programs - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Professional certifications in HSE (e.g. NEBOSH, OSHA) are preferred We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for career growth and development.
