Job Overview: As a Mechanical Site Inspector E2, you will be responsible for overseeing and inspecting all mechanical construction activities on site. You will ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations. You will work closely with the project team to ensure that all mechanical systems are installed and commissioned correctly, and that the project is completed on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct regular inspections of mechanical systems and equipment on site to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations - Review and approve all mechanical shop drawings and material submittals - Monitor construction progress and provide regular reports to the project team - Identify and resolve any technical issues or conflicts that may arise during construction - Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment - Conduct quality control inspections to ensure that all work is carried out to the required standards - Participate in commissioning and testing of mechanical systems - Provide technical support and guidance to the project team as needed - Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures - Maintain accurate records of all inspections, tests, and other relevant documentation - Attend project meetings and provide updates on mechanical construction activities - Assist in the preparation of progress reports and other project documentation as required. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field - Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical construction, preferably in the oil and gas or power generation industry - Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment - Familiarity with industry standards and codes - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications - Proficient in using Microsoft Office and other relevant software - Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve technical issues - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Willingness to work on a rotational schedule and in remote locations if required.
