Job Purpose
- 
Operate buses, heavy trucks, loaders, and any other heavy equipment.
 - 
Load or assist in loading trucks or other vehicles with materials to be transported to various locations.
 
Key Responsibilities
Operations:
- 
Operate buses, heavy trucks, loaders, and other heavy vehicles as required.
 - 
Load or assist in loading trucks or vehicles with materials to be transported.
 - 
Follow hand signals and verbal instructions during loading and positioning of materials, ensuring the load is safely secured and balanced before departure.
 - 
Drive employee buses as needed to transport passengers to and from various locations, ensuring the safety and security of passengers and the proper care and operation of the vehicle.
 - 
Inspect vehicles regularly to ensure they are maintained in good operating condition.
 - 
Observe scheduled maintenance requirements and deliver vehicles to the workshop for servicing at required intervals.
 - 
Report any vehicle damage or malfunction to the supervisor.
 - 
Drive and maintain vehicles in a professional, conscientious, and safe manner while adhering to local road traffic laws.
 - 
Observe safety regulations concerning vehicles and specific site conditions. Obtain necessary work permits to enter restricted areas.
 - 
Keep vehicles clean inside and outside at all times, ensuring that identification stickers are visible.
 - 
Carry out other similar or related duties as assigned, including reporting accidents, preparing incident reports, and ensuring that registration and insurance papers remain valid.

Implement and comply with all relevant functional policies, processes, systems, standards, and procedures to accomplish operational objectives.
 
Training
- 
Provide on-the-job training to support Competency-Based Training programs for UAE Nationalization.

- 
Contribute to identifying areas and opportunities for continuous improvement in operational procedures and functional processes.
 
Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability
- 
Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures, and controls, and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices, and codes of practice.
 - 
Participate as a team member in emergency response duties.
 
Housekeeping
- 
Maintain a clean and tidy work environment before and during operations, in line with established hygiene and housekeeping standards.
 
Reports
- 
Provide inputs for the preparation of section progress reports for management.
 - 
Prepare various Key Performance Indicator (KPI) checklists for management.
 
Communications & Working Relationships
Internal:
- 
Contact with line manager, peers, and other employees as required.
 
External:
- 
Contact with external parties, including consultants, third-party service providers, and government agencies, as required.
 
Minimum Requirements
Education:
- 
Completion of primary education.
 
Experience, Knowledge & Skills:
- 
Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
 
Certifications:
- 
Valid UAE heavy-duty driving license.
 
Work Conditions
Physical Effort:
- 
Minimal.
 
Work Environment:
- 
Primarily air-conditioned environment. May be exposed to prevailing weather conditions such as heat, humidity, and dust during occasional site visits.
