Responsibilities for systems product manager

  • Prioritize amongst multiple product solutions and drive cross functional alignment of priorities
  • Coordinate with the solution provider to meet our shared goals by helping the team in coordinating inputs and driving timelines
  • Develop product requirement documents and functional design documents by coordinating with business teams.
  • Support solution provider in identifying roadblocks that prevent the team from delivering product upgrades or innovation and assist in removing those roadblocks
  • Support release activities and train users
  • Facilitate discussion and creatively problem solve for solutions that meet the customer’s needs
  • Capable of responding to operational, technical and application requests assist in resolving technical and operational issues and challenges
  • Develop recommendations to solve problems and issues related to Sales and Product Divisions business functions
  • Lead discovery workshops, present solutions, and prototype demonstrations

Qualifications for systems product manager

  • Demonstrated deep knowledge and understanding in a specific area of expertise including PMS products
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese
  • Demonstrated ability to work with and manage vendor relationships for the purpose of delivery
  • Firm sense of accountability and ownership for end-to-end product lifecycle with a demonstrated ability to drive system product planning, development, and launch
  • Proven track record of developing user stories or product requirement documents (PRDs)
  • Experience and aptitude for building and managing a team
