About the Role

As the Psychologist, you'll assess clients and gather their background before pinpointing the issues that need attention, using various tests to build a clear picture of their mental health and shape a treatment plan. This involves interviewing clients and running psychological assessments to better understand what they're dealing with. The goal is to offer therapy and counseling options that help people understand themselves better, while also helping others figure out how to change their behavior and ease difficulties in their lives

Responsibilities

  • Help clients address mental health concerns or adjust their behaviors
  • Exhibit superior communication skills to uncover complicated mental health issues
  • Help individuals address underlying behavioral issues
  • Empathize with a wide range of people and focus on the needs of your customers
  • Develop and recommend psychotherapy plans based on patient needs and diagnosis
  • Provide referrals when necessary for additional care, evaluation, or psychotherapy
  • Develop a psychotherapy plan, measure progress against the plan, and make adjustments as needed
  • Complete all necessary clinical documentation in an accurate and timely manner
  • Coordinate and communicate with the Psychiatrist, Clinic Manager, and other stakeholders about treatment and care
  • Work online through video call on the company's platform and on-site at their clinic
  • Perform all other duties assigned by the manager or reporting line
  • Participate in the clinic's marketing activities or campaigns
  • Participate in service design related to the clinic and company as a psychology expert

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional experience as a Psychologist
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, with a valid Clinical Psychologist license
  • Specialisation in Child Clinical Psychology would be an advantage
  • Proficient in administering IQ tests and projective psychological assessments
  • Able to complete client/background verification process
  • Strong clinical knowledge, such as an understanding of psychodynamics and case formulation
  • Excellent listening skills and high emotional intelligence, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary care team, collaborating with other healthcare professionals
  • Willingness to work 30 - 40 hours per week, with occasional Saturday, Sunday, or public holiday shifts depending on the clinic duty roster
