Job Openings Chief Growth Officer

About the job Chief Growth Officer

About the Company

A fast-growing restaurant technology company is building an all-in-one operating system for restaurants, cafés, bars, hotels, and hospitality businesses.

The platform brings together the tools operators need to run their businesses, including POS, ordering, payments, inventory, loyalty, reservations, analytics, and integrations—all in one connected ecosystem. It is already trusted by more than 1,000 venues and integrates with 150+ POS systems and other tools across payments, delivery, reservations, accounting, inventory, and hospitality.

With AI and automation becoming increasingly embedded into the platform, the company is building toward a future where restaurant technology doesn't just tell operators what happened—it helps them decide what to do next, and increasingly does it for them.

About the Role

The company is looking for a Chief Growth Officer to build and accelerate its growth engine.

The mission is simple: Generate more qualified pipeline. Convert more of it into customers. Build a growth machine that scales.

This role will own the full growth funnel—from positioning and demand generation to acquisition, conversion, experimentation, and marketing automation—while working closely with Sales and the leadership team.

This is not a traditional marketing leadership role. The ideal candidate is a hands-on operator who enjoys getting into the details, testing unconventional ideas, digging through data, leveraging AI, and building systems that drive growth.

Rather than simply managing agencies or delegating execution, this person will identify opportunities, run experiments, learn quickly, and execute.

As the growth engine scales, there will be an opportunity to build and lead a small Growth team.

Responsibilities

  • Own the overall growth strategy and full marketing-to-revenue funnel, with a focus on qualified pipeline and new customers
  • Build and scale inbound and outbound acquisition channels in close partnership with Sales
  • Own performance marketing across Google Ads, paid acquisition, SEO, SEM, GEO/AEO, and emerging channels
  • Develop positioning, messaging, content strategy, and campaigns
  • Run high-volume growth experiments across acquisition, messaging, content, landing pages, conversion, pricing, channels, and partnerships
  • Use AI, automation, data, and modern growth tools to increase speed and efficiency
  • Turn successful experiments into repeatable and scalable growth channels
  • Work closely with Sales to improve lead quality, conversion rates, and the Marketing-to-Revenue handoff
  • Own growth metrics including SQLs, pipeline, conversion, CAC, channel ROI, and customer acquisition efficiency
  • Proactively identify and pursue new growth opportunities
  • Build and eventually manage a small, high-performing Growth team
  • Work directly with the leadership team with significant ownership and a co-founder-level mindset

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in Growth, Growth Marketing, Demand Generation, Performance Marketing, or a similar growth-focused role
  • Proven track record of generating qualified pipeline and contributing directly to customer or revenue growth
  • Hands-on experience with performance marketing, analytics, content, acquisition, and funnel optimization
  • Strong understanding of how Marketing translates into pipeline, customers, and revenue
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to turn data into action
  • Comfortable running experiments, learning quickly, and changing direction based on results
  • Experience with AI, automation, CRM, analytics, and modern growth tools
  • Entrepreneurial and resourceful mindset
  • Comfortable working directly with founders and senior leadership
  • Able to move between strategy and hands-on execution

Language Proficiency

  • Fluent in English
