Corporate Lawyer

Job description

• Provide expert legal counsel on a broad range of corporate matters, including governance, compliance, contracts, and regulatory requirements.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, partnership contracts, and internal policies.
• Advise management on mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, labor law issues, and legal risk mitigation.
• Ensure compliance with local laws, licensing requirements, and industry-specific regulations.
• Represent the company in legal proceedings and liaise with external counsel when necessary.
• Monitor changes in legislation and assess their potential impact on the business.
• Maintain a high standard of professional ethics, discretion, and confidentiality in all legal matters.

Job requirements

• Law degree from a recognized university; Masters in Commercial or Corporate Law is an advantage.
• Licensed to practice law in the respective jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate law, contracts, or legal compliance.
• Proven experience in mergers & acquisitions, regulatory affairs, and employment/labor law.
• Strong knowledge of commercial, labor, and corporate legal frameworks.
• Exceptional legal research, drafting, and analytical skills.
• Fluent in both English and Mongolian legal terminology.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
