We are seeking a qualified candidate for the Parts Sales Supervisor position at the Parts Department. Main area of responsibility include: 

Main areas of responsibility include:

  • Supervises parts sales function:
  1. making sure all parts are accurately quoted and sold according to the proper price escalations and procedures
  2. all sales invoices are released on time and sent to accounts payable to process to Customers
  3. Liaise with Finance team and PSSRs regarding customers payment and credit limits
  4. Interpretation of customers parts and component requirements by use of electronic parts manuals
  5. Advises the inventory team about parts sales forecast and movements
  • Looks after pricing of parts:
  1. Making sure all prices are applied to correct product and correct customer
  2. Contacting and communicates with KAC HME team in regard of pricing and pricing adjustments
  3. Adding new items into system when needed and making sure proper margin is applied
  4. Advising possible discounts for parts when needed
  • Prepares monthly reports and analysis for parts sales and pricing:
  1. Being responsible for training and developing staff
  2. Making sure all Parts department staff comply with all related company safety procedures
  3. Creating and following up the Extends issues on sales area
  4. Responsible for daily parts counting conducted by inventory control team
  5. Responsible for the annual wall to wall stock take
  6. Must participate weekly RAR meeting within your workgroup
  7. Must maintain good communication between different workgroups within parts department & reman team at the service department
  8. Works close with parts expediting coordinator to ensure all Oyu Tolgoi parts delivered by on time

Requirements and skills:

  • 3-5 years experience preferably in an industrial mining equipment environment
  • Excellent computer proficiency in Microsoft Offices and ERP system
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to develop, negotiate and administer Customer enquiries
  • Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities
  • Planning and organizational skills, including the ability to meet deadlines and complete projects
  • Ability to work independently and/ or as part of a team
  • Knowledge of company and customer standards and procedures as applicable to parts sales
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, with a wide variety of individuals and groups.
  • Ability to make decisions
  • Detail oriented
