Technical Instructor / Automotive Industry

Job description

• Develop and deliver training programs for service technicians and employees
• Conduct lectures, hands-on sessions, and practical assessments
• Teach automotive diagnostics, repair, and maintenance procedures
• Partner with technical schools and industry to align training with standards
• Ensure a safe training environment and conduct safety orientations
• Mentor students and support their professional development
• Manage training materials and stay current on automotive trends

Job requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in Automotive Technology or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a service technician in the automotive industry, with a strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques.
• Previous teaching or instructional experience, especially in a technical or vocational setting, is a plus.
• Proficiency in English (Japanese is plus);
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
