• Able to travel for local & overseas business trips
• Support internal communications between Japanese leadership and local employees.
• Ensure translations maintain accuracy, context, and industry-specific terminology.
• Assist in preparing bilingual materials for internal use and client presentations.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive company information with discretion.
• Conduct glossary development and maintain consistency of terminology across departments.

• JLPT N1, or professional Japanese language proficiency
• Advanced English proficiency
• Bachelor's degree in related field
• Minimum 23 years of translation/interpretation experience
• Solid understanding of automotive industry terms, technologies, and workflows.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• High attention to detail and linguistic accuracy.
