Job description
Receive, inspect, and record incoming parts and materials, ensuring accuracy against purchase
orders.
- Maintain organized storage of parts and materials, categorizing and labeling items for easy
identification.
- Pick, pack, and ship parts and accessories as per customer and internal service requests, ensuring
timely and accurate deliveries.
- Prepare shipping documentation and coordinate with carriers for outbound shipments
- Conduct quality checks on received and outgoing parts to ensure compliance with company
standards.
- Report discrepancies, damages, or issues with inventory to the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, ensuring that all safety standards and
procedures are followed.
- Assist in regular inventory counts and audits to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and report any malfunctions to the Warehouse
Supervisor.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures to minimize accidents and injuries in the workplace.
- Participate in safety training and contribute to a culture of safety within the warehouse.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity within
warehouse operations.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to continually develop skills and knowledge.
Job requirements
- Bachelor degree or equivalent; additional certifications in warehouse management or logistics are a plus;
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred;
- Proficiency in English (Japanese is plus);
- Basic knowledge of automotive parts and inventory management systems is a plus;
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to [insert weight]) and perform physical tasks as required;
- Forklift certification is preferred but can be provided as part of the training;
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment;
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting;
