We're seeking a passionate and experienced Founding CTO / Software Engineer to be our technical co-founder, bringing this vision to life and scaling our platform to its full potential.

About the Role:

As our Founding CTO / Lead Software Engineer, you will be the architect and lead developer, taking full ownership of our technical roadmap. You'll work with the CEO and founding team, translating our business vision into a scalable, high-performing product. This is a hands-on building role, allowing you to shape our platform's core technology and future, primarily focusing on empowering the job seeker.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Architecting, building, and scaling our automated job search tool and an advanced job board with job-scrapping features.
  • Leading all development efforts across the Python backend and any chosen frontend stack preferably React/Nextjs/Vue 
  • Designing and implementing scalable cloud infrastructure 
  • Driving innovation in data scraping, intelligent job matching, application tracking, and personalized job seeker experiences.
  • Eventually building and leading a small, high-performing technical team.
  • Ensuring a security-first approach, valuing data privacy and robust system architecture.

You Should Apply If:

  • You have 3-7 years of engineering experience with strong full-stack capabilities.
  • You have experience building or contributing significantly to consumer-facing platforms or data-intensive web applications (job boards, search engines, or similar platforms are a plus).
  • You are highly proficient in JavaScript for front end and Python for backend development.
  • You are comfortable with modern frontend frameworks and can lead development in any chosen frontend stack (e.g., Vue, React, Next.js, etc.).
  • You have experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Google Cloud, or similar).
  • You have experience with Chrome Extension development or a strong aptitude for building one.
  • You have previous startup or founding experience, or you're eager to step into such a role and comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous, and early-stage environments.
  • You are a true co-founder mindset: resilient, innovative, adaptable, and deeply committed to a startup's success.
  • You are looking for a fully remote position with flexible timing, empowering you to work from home.

You Should NOT Apply If:

  • You are not proficient in Python for backend development.
  • You are uncomfortable with a non-salaried, equity-only compensation model at this early stage.
  • You prefer a structured corporate environment over a dynamic, hands-on startup where you'll wear multiple hats.
  • You require a predefined, inflexible work schedule or cannot operate remotely.
