About the job Procurement Analytics and Reporting Manager
As a Remote Procurement Analytics and Reporting Manager, you will lead the development, execution, and optimization of procurement reporting and data-driven insights to support strategic sourcing, supplier performance, cost savings initiatives, and compliance across the organization. This role is critical to enabling the procurement function to operate efficiently, strategically, and transparently by turning complex data into actionable business intelligence.
You will oversee procurement KPIs, dashboards, spend analyses, and supplier scorecards while collaborating with sourcing, finance, and operations stakeholders. You will also support process automation and system optimization to improve procurement decision-making and drive cost control efforts across a global or multi-site environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage procurement analytics dashboards, reports, and scorecards to provide visibility into supplier performance, cost savings, category spend, contract compliance, and risk
Lead spend analysis initiatives across business units, identifying opportunities for consolidation, savings, or strategic sourcing
Collaborate with procurement leadership, finance, and business units to define and track KPIs and procurement performance metrics
Manage procurement data governance, including vendor master data accuracy, classification, and taxonomy (e.g., UNSPSC or NAICS codes)
Drive automation and efficiency in reporting processes through the use of data visualization tools and ERP/reporting systems
Oversee the development and distribution of monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reporting for executives and cross-functional stakeholders
Support contract lifecycle analytics, rebate tracking, payment term compliance, and pricing trends
Partner with IT to improve integration between procurement tools (e.g., Coupa, Ariba, SAP, Oracle) and BI platforms
Mentor and guide junior analysts or report developers, where applicable
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related field (Masters preferred)
2+ years of experience in procurement analytics, supply chain reporting, or business intelligence
Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik
Familiarity with procurement or ERP systems (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, Workday)
Strong understanding of strategic sourcing, vendor management, and procurement compliance processes
Ability to translate complex datasets into clear narratives and actionable recommendations
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills in a virtual, cross-functional environment
