Data Integration Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Integration Engineer to join our remote team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain data integration pipelines across various platforms and systems. Youll work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate, and secure movement of data critical to our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and build scalable data integration solutions across databases, APIs, and cloud platforms

Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like Apache Airflow, Talend, Informatica, or custom scripts

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and ensure seamless system integrations

Monitor data workflows and troubleshoot data quality or connectivity issues

Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security policies

Automate data transformation and delivery processes to support business intelligence and analytics

Document integration architecture, workflows, and best practices

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in data integration, ETL development, or data engineering

Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (Python preferred)

Experience with cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs and data formats (JSON, XML, CSV)

Strong understanding of data modeling, warehousing concepts, and data governance

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Strong communication and collaboration abilities in a remote setting
