The File Clerk is responsible for organizing, maintaining, and retrieving digital records to ensure accurate documentation and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role supports operational efficiency by maintaining well-structured filing systems, ensuring data accuracy, and safeguarding confidential information. The File Clerk operates in a fully remote environment and must demonstrate strong attention to detail and organizational discipline.

This position is strictly limited to candidates who currently reside in the United States and are legally authorized to work in the U.S. Applications from individuals residing outside the United States will be rejected.

Key Responsibilities

Organize, categorize, and maintain digital files and records

Review documents for completeness and accuracy

Update and maintain electronic filing systems

Retrieve and distribute files upon authorized request

Ensure compliance with document retention and privacy policies

Scan, upload, and index documents accurately

Identify and correct filing discrepancies or errors

Maintain confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary information

Assist with audits and document reviews as required

Support administrative and records management tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (Associates degree preferred)

1–3 years of experience in administrative support, data entry, or records management

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and file management systems

Ability to maintain accuracy while handling high volumes of documents

Strong time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines

Reliable high-speed internet connection and secure remote workspace

Ability to work independently in a remote setting

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with electronic document management systems (EDMS)

Familiarity with records retention policies and compliance standards

Prior experience supporting audit or compliance teams

Strong written communication skills
