About the job Technical Advocate
The Technical Advocate serves as a bridge between customers, developers, and internal technical teams to ensure successful adoption, implementation, and optimization of products and services. This role provides technical guidance, advocacy, and problem resolution while representing customer needs to product and engineering teams. The Technical Advocate operates in a fully remote environment and plays a key role in improving user experience and product success.
This position is strictly limited to candidates who currently reside in the United States and are legally authorized to work in the U.S. Applications from individuals residing outside the United States will be rejected.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support and guidance to customers, developers, and partners
Assist with product implementation, integration, and troubleshooting
Create technical documentation, guides, and best-practice resources
Advocate for customer feedback and collaborate with product teams on improvements
Conduct technical demonstrations and solution walkthroughs
Support onboarding processes to ensure successful adoption
Identify common technical challenges and recommend scalable solutions
Participate in issue resolution and escalation management
Contribute to knowledge base development and training materials
Stay current on product updates, technical trends, and industry developments
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3–6 years of experience in technical support, developer relations, solutions engineering, or related roles
Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, and software systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Experience working in cross-functional teams
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in SaaS, cloud platforms, or developer-focused environments
Familiarity with programming languages or scripting (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or similar)
Experience creating technical documentation or tutorials
Knowledge of customer experience best practices
Background in product support or developer advocacy
