About the job Sales Operations Intern
Summary
We are searching for a committed, deadline-driven sales intern to join our excellent sales team. The sales intern will complete all tasks assigned by the manager, which may include conducting market research, identifying business opportunities, and assisting the Sales department wherever possible. You should be able to take instructions, but also work unsupervised when required.
To be successful as a sales intern, you should be willing to learn as much about the company as possible and be able to spot opportunities that have been overlooked by others. Outstanding sales interns are problem solvers who know the value of building lasting, professional relationships with clients.
Key responsibilities of the job
- Working closely with the manager or assigned staff member and completing all allocated tasks.
- Overall gathering and organization of internal, market, and competitive data
- Research competitive pricing and programming activity on a consistent basis
- Conducting desktop research, or gathering information through surveys
- Maintain database of competitive intelligence including product specifications, pricing, and retail programming
- Perform monthly industry association reporting and data analysis/reporting
- Perform regular competitive market share analysis
- Perform competitive dealer network research and targeting analysis
- Support sales and marketing leadership with other data-driven insights as needed
Educational requirements and competencies
- Current enrollment in a related BS or masters degree in Marketing, business or similar or a degree in marketing, business or similar.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Korean-English bilingual required
- Strong self-motivation.
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
- MS office proficiency
