About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Loan Review Analyst to join our Risk team in Montreal. In this role, you will assess credit quality across a diverse loan portfolio, ensuring compliance with internal risk policies and regulatory standards. Reporting to the Head of Loan Review, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to review credit documentation, evaluate risk ratings, and present findings to senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth reviews of credit files, underwriting standards, and borrower documentation.

  • Validate credit risk ratings and ensure alignment with regulatory classifications.

  • Assess collateral adequacy and documentation accuracy in accordance with approvals.

  • Summarize findings in formal reports and present recommendations to internal business lines and risk leaders.

  • Support audit responses and participate in follow-up action plans.

  • Stay current on accounting standards and industry trends impacting credit analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.

  • 8 - 10 years of experience in banking or credit risk analysis (real estate, 

    project finance, leveraged loans).
  • Strong knowledge of credit risk frameworks and regulatory guidelines.

  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Capital IQ.

  • Fluent in English; French proficiency is a strong asset.
