- Life and Health licensed
- Working knowledge of Benefit Point Management system is a plus
- Ability to effectively manage high volume, VIP customers
- Some travel is required
Major Responsibilities
- Manage a large number of time-sensitive client issues at any given time
- Connect with prospective and existing clients to address a broad range of insurance issues
- Maintain knowledge of new developments or changes with the carriers and new federal/state laws that may affect how our clients must administer their benefit programs, and communicate this information
- Ability to work with and without supervision
- Prepare renewals, proposals, and census data
- Identify and resolve issues relating, but not limited to, claims, eligibility, coverage and cost
- Conduct new business presentations, renewal meetings and employee open enrollment
- Project a professional, positive and enthusiastic image in the workplace
- Ability to analyze the customers benefit portfolio and recommend/cross sell additional product lines
- Commit to utilize and follow current operating systems and procedures while remaining flexible to the changing demands of a growing organization
