About the job UX Engineer (Design & Systems)

Job Title: UX Engineer (Design & Systems)

Experience: 2+ Years

Location: Hybrid / Remote

Compensation: 50,000 BDT to 65,000 BDT

About Us : We build scalable backend systems and SaaS solutions for various client projects across different industries. Our work includes real-time systems, booking platforms, and workforce management tools.

Role Overview: We are looking for a UX Engineer who is a designer by heart but a developer by trade. You will bridge the gap between abstract design concepts and functional reality. Your primary focus will be designing high-fidelity user interfaces and translating those designs into clean, scalable CSS and reusable front-end components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design & Prototyping: Lead the UI/UX design process in Figma, from initial wireframes to high-fidelity interactive prototypes.
  • Design System Management: Build and maintain our design system, ensuring visual consistency across all platforms.
  • Front-End Integration: Write production-ready CSS and styled-components that mirror design specifications with 1:1 precision.
  • Component Architecture: Collaborate with the engineering team to build reusable UI component libraries (React/Vue).
  • Interaction Design: Create animations and micro-interactions using CSS animations or libraries like Framer Motion.
  • UX Research: Conduct user testing and heuristic evaluations to improve existing flows.

Required Skills

  • Design Tools: Mastery of Figma (Auto-layout, Components, Prototyping).
  • Styling: Modern CSS (Flexbox, Grid, Custom Properties) and Tailwind CSS.
  • Development: Knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and experience with React or NextJS.
  • Architecture: Deep understanding of Atomic Design principles.
  • Soft Skills: Ability to "speak developer" and "speak designer" fluently.

What We're Looking For

  • Problem-Solving Mindset: You solve user friction, not just move pixels.
  • Adaptability: A generalist who can pivot between dashboards, landing pages, and mobile flows.
  • Ownership: Taking a feature from an initial sketch into production-ready code.
  • Clean Code: Writing modular, scalable styles (Tailwind CSS) that the whole team can use.
