Compensation: 55,000 BDT to 65,000 BDT

About Us: We build scalable backend systems and SaaS solutions for various client projects across different industries. Our work includes real-time systems, booking platforms, workforce management tools, and custom backend architectures.

Role Overview: We are looking for a Backend Engineer who can work across multiple client projects and contribute to designing and building scalable, high-performance backend systems. You will be responsible for the "engine" of our applications, ensuring data moves efficiently and securely from the database to the user.

Key Responsibilities

• System Design: Design and develop backend systems for SaaS and custom client projects.
• API Development: Build scalable REST APIs and microservices that are easy for frontend teams to consume.
• Database Management: Design efficient database schemas and optimize complex queries for speed and reliability.
• Event-Driven Architecture: Implement robust messaging systems using Kafka (Pub/Sub model).
• Tech Stack Mastery: Work daily with PostgreSQL, Redis, and MongoDB to manage diverse data needs.
• Performance Tuning: Proactively identify bottlenecks and improve system performance and scalability.
• Technical Leadership: Participate in backend architecture discussions and key technical decision-making.
• Collaboration: Partner with frontend developers and project managers to deliver high-quality features.

Required Skills

• 1-2 years of experience in professional backend development.
• Strong Programming Fundamentals: Mastery of JavaScript (Node.js) and Python.
• Framework Proficiency: Experience with Express.js, FastAPI, or Django.
• Database Expertise: Solid understanding of PostgreSQL, Redis, and MongoDB.
• Systems Design: Good understanding of event-driven systems and messaging brokers like Kafka.
• Version Control: Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows (Pull Requests, Code Reviews).
